Switchfoot — Meant to Live

Hi Everyone! Hows everyone doing? I’m all typing this ias though people actually read this. :happy: Anyways…. sooo yea… I took a pregnancy test yesterday. Its negative. I’m two weeks late, maybe later. I have no idea how late I am exactly. I’ve been sick, sore, etc etc. I have all the signs. When the test came back negative last night, I was shocked. I was totally expecting it to say positive. But I guess time will tell. I’m going to wait another week or two and take another test. If it comes back negative again, I’m going to wait another week and then make an appointment to be seen because eww… I’m nervous. I’d love to have a baby right now. All the babies I see around just make me get teary eyed…

Mike would kill me. I think he’d be highly upset about it happening because he does not want it to happen right now. But I do think he’d treat me absolutely wonderfully while I’m pregnant and be an absolute amazing father if it ever happened. Needless to say, time will tell the truth I guess.

Hmm, what else was I going to write about? Oh! Today we went to Target. We got Nickolas another christmas present. They had all their power ranger stuff 50% off clearance. We bought a toy set that had like seven power rangers, with a little car, etc. It was only $10 after it being on clearance, not bad at all. I want to get to KBToys and pick up these playsets that they sell there. They’re like the little people sets but they’re the “cheapy” brand. Personally I think they look way better either way. He loves playing with figurines inside houses, etc. So what better than a castle with knights and horsemen.

I’ve been really nervous though because we fell behind on our bills again this month and with Christmas being only a few winks away, I’m scared I’m not going to have enough money to get him many presents. Mike ensured me that it really isnt that bad because he’s still young, he doesnt understand 100% yet. Not only that, but he’s soooooo spoiled. He has well over 20+ dvds that he’s gotten in the past, god, 6 months. Yea, he’s spoiled. Not only that, but he’s going to have presents to open from everyoneeee. This kid will not go presentless this year. I just feel bad because my mom never ever celebrated christmas with us the past 12 years. When she did, she bought us stuff at the dollar store… thats not bad right? As long as we got something we should be happy? How about having your mom, take you to the store the entire year… and tell you “Pick something out, its your christmas present.” Regardless of it being a pair of shoes, or a toy, or food… it was our present. I promised myself I would NEVER EVER do that to Nickolas.Uhm… I believe thats all I really wanted to talk about.
