Hi, guys. I decided to come write at 6:40 this morning.

I don’t have anything, in particular, to talk about so bear with me with my random thoughts. Here are a few things that happened yesterday:

  • After a LONG day at work, I finally got my new desk! I ended up getting it after I punched out and then moving everything over and getting situated around 4:15 – fifteen minutes after my shift ended. I didn’t even care that I was doing company related work on my own time. I finally got a new desk, my own, very own desk. I could hardly contain my excitement. Now to just get hired on and keep that wonderful desk of mine.
  • Mikhail did exactly what I asked him to do! I had strict rules for this new school year.
    • come home and put your backpack away
    • take your homework and at-home folder out and put it on my computer
    • take your lunch bag and put it on the counter
    • do your homework before I come home
    • do your reading before I come home
He did exactly that. The lunch bag I noticed first. I couldn’t believe it. There it was in all its glory, a lunch box sitting on the kitchen counter just waiting for me to go through. Then his backpack and folder were exactly where I asked them to be. I was so proud of him for listening after only being told ONCE to do it. Way to go, Mikhail!
  • I wrote a FULL planner page worth of notes and to-dos for yesterday. I’d take a picture but some of the stuff on there was personal and I don’t feel like blurring that stuff out.
  • Nick found out his “Act Yourself” class wasn’t, in fact, a “class to build confidence and learn about yourself” but instead a drama and acting class. LOL, He had no idea, nor did he read the description of the class itself. So, he’s stuck with a drama and acting class. Which, isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve been saying since he was four or five that he needs to get into drama and acting just because of his personality.

Speaking of pictures, would you like to see more pictures on this blog? I know that pictures are more easy on the eyes (for lack of better words) and that things are easier to read with pictures. It’s just a hassle to include pictures of everything. I can make exceptions for certain things.

Ok. My stomach is nauseated. My stomach isn’t cooperating with my coffee this morning either. I really want to feel better again soon. But, I have a full day of work ahead of me. Hopefully, it’s not as crazy busy as it has been the past week as they said it was. I’m hoping that it’s a Thursday, we have a decent amount of people on Thursday’s and it shouldn’t be overly busy, right? One could only hope.

Ok, until next time…

Xoxo, Nik.

Drama class sounds perfect for him! I like to see pictures, but then I also don’t mind reading without pictures. I hope your stomach settles.
