Things I Love Thursday — I got this idea from Afef at Strawberry-Gashes.net. I’m going to try to do this every Thursday. It will help me look at the positives of what’s going on in my life instead of the negatives. So, here’s my first attempt… Matt taking Nickolas — He took him on Sunday night until Tuesday morning, and then again yesterday until tonight. I love when he’s actively taking him. It makes my life easier because it gives me time to get stuff done and Nickolas happy because he gets to see his dad. Healthy children — Nickolas had his five year old doctor’s appointment on Tuesday. Although he got stuck FOUR times for his booster shots, it was a very pleasant visit. He’s in the 95 percentile for his height, and 85 percentile for his weight. [For those who don't understand that, 50 percentile is average, 100 percentile is highly above average.] So, he’s estimated to be in the 6’1″ height range. He is also extremely healthy otherwise. Creating amazing pixels — I have completed that Christmas pixel set that I was telling everyone about. I want to show everyone.There are over 40 different graphics in the pack. I spent so much freaking time working on it. [8 hours plus.] I think they turned out amazing. They’re really detailed, as you can see, and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. Busy Weekends — We have an extremely busy weekend planned out for us! Friday, Nickolas and I will be going with Mike’s Mom to Sam’s Club to buy all the food for the baby shower. Afterwards, we’ll be going to her house and waiting for Mike to come home so we can take him to his eye doctor appointment. After that, we might end up hanging out with Adam and Gwenn playing video games and such. Saturday, alright Saturday is tough to say. Mike might be going with his Dad to go pick up our wash machine from his Aunt’s house. Which means, I’ll be spending the afternoon and night doing non-stop laundry! Sunday is the baby shower. I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing yet. I’m nervous. We will see how it goes. Creating and finishing baby shower gifts and favors. — Gwenn and I completed the candle holders that we had planned on handing out as thank you gifts for the baby shower. We also went to the dollar store and bought a ton of bath washes, lotions, sugar scrubs, little bathy type things to give out. We figure everyone will get two of those and the games will be just for fun. *I’m going to take pictures of all these, plus the invitations, once I find the one that I put away for keepsake, so check back for all those pictures!* Cold Weather — Normally, I’m the first to complain that I’m freezing. The heat is turned up to 74° F and I’m still freezing. Not now, not since I’m pregnant! I’ve been loving the cold weather. In fact, I’ve wanted to sleep with the window open! Its so nice to be opposite for once. I wonder if this will go away after the baby is born. New Blogging Techniques — Although this is completely unoriginal because I got the idea from Afef, I love the idea. I hope everyone doesn’t mind that I’m doing this. What are your thoughts? Do you think its alright I’m making my own “T.I.L.T” entries? Do you think I should come up with my own ideas? Let me know your thoughts!
