Music filled entry…
So, I get into these random kicks, where I’ll post the current song I’m listening to while writing a post. Yea, I’m a nerd, I have nothing better to do with my time. I’m bored, so that’s what I’ve decided to do DJ Laz – Mami El Nigro Funny story behind this song… Not exactly funny, but I find it necessary to tell. My friend Jennifer and I had listened to this particular song off a mixed CD we had found in the car when she bought it. We had listened to it over and over on our road trip going up north. It became our theme song for one summer. We had lost the CD at the end of the trip. We had no idea what the name or artist of the song was because it was a random mix. It’s a ‘booty bass mix’ type of song. 90% of the song is also in spanish. Obviously, it’s not a easy song to find. We had searched for over five years to find this song again. All we could remember is there was “mommy or mami” in it. After hearing a song on the radio one day, Jennifer called me and told me about how the song she heard had a similar chorus to it. I looked up the song she found on the radio, got the lyrics, and started on the hundredth man hunt I’ve preformed for this song. Sure enough, I found it. Five years later, we now have the song we listened to that one crazy summer. [We don't know what the hell we were thinking either. "What is so great about that song? Its weird." Is basically what I think about it now.]Moving along…I’ve been doing a whole lot of nothing again. I can’t say that. Mike and I spent almost all of Saturday setting up the bedroom for when we get the crib. We had to move the dresser out of the closet, move the desk and all of my scrapbooking stuff in the closet. We had cleaned up the closet and went through majority of everything. Its like I have my own little personal office now. We’re thinking about getting a wireless PCI card to put into the desktop and set that up in there too. I think that would be nice to have for whatever reason. I can also see Mike disappearing to the closet for like three hours to sit on the computer though also. LOL Now, we just need to pick up the crib, pick up the wash machine, set up the living room to how we’re going to have it. We’re going to have a lot to do the last three weeks of my pregnancy preparing for this baby. Brand New – Sowing SeasonNickolas is over at Matt’s house today so I’ve been pixeling away at this Christmas set that I’m going to sell. I really need to make some link buttons and such for that site!!! That way, I can start advertising places, and start getting some hits, and revenue! I’ll have to post an example of the pixels I put together for the Christmas set. I worked on them from 8:30am until around 12:30pm today. Other than that, not a whole lot is going on. I haven’t been sleeping well lately. I’ve been in a lot of pain. Lots of pressure and pain in my legs while I sleep because of the baby. I also keep waking up in the middle of the night, and then my mind floods with all sorts of things. Which ends up waking me up and keeping me awake for at least 3-4 hours. Its so irritating.
