Love Work…
Hey everyone, another quick 6am entry for you all…Work has been going great. I have no idea whether or not I posted all this the last entry, and quite frankly I’m too lazy to look back and see if I did. (Hey, I’m writing an entry finally, lol) Alright, what has happened at work lately, you ask?Well, uhm… Monday and Tuesday with the daylight savings times crap, my computer was all broken. The times were off by an hour. THEN! Our calls & wait times are counted down… so, it was saying I was “ready” (between calls it will count to see how long we’re waiting for the next call to come in) for over 10 hours. It was ALL sorts of messed up. So I told Dave (the team leader; medium management) So they finally fixed all that yesterday…Deb (one of the coaches; bottom management) came up to me and informed me that because I was doing so well, they’re going to teach me on webs! I’m one of the few, if not only trainees that started this season that will be learning that already. :blush: So that’s pretty awesome.Then… I talked to Melissa (the other team leader) and informed her about my vacation to Disney World. I told her I didn’t want to sound cocky or anything, thinking I HAD the job when it was going to come to us getting hired on but I wanted to inform them of the two week absence. She told me to put it down on the Time Off Slip and inform Dave. So, I did. I wrote out the time-off form and informed Dave about the vacation. He got the slip and I seen him in the hallway going back from lunch. He asked me if the computer was all fixed, and I told him it was. Then I asked if he got the vacation slip. He said, “Yea, judging by the time that will be, it will not be a problem letting you have that vacation time. If you get hired on that is, but know we’ll have a spot saved for you. Just continue to do what you’re doing and you’ll have no problem.” I told him about how I absolutely loved the job, because I do. Its a challenge, theres something new to learn everyday, and its easy! He said that was great to hear. He then asked me where I parked because there have been ALL SORTS of problems with parking because there arent enough spots in our parking lot for all the new employees. I told him I got a ride everyday and he goes, “Thats even better, you just brownie points with me then!” LOL muahahahah!So, on top of all of that, I found out that because I’m doing so well, I dont have to have my emergency tickets checked anymore either. (We had to have every single emergency checked before sending them out) Well, I no longer have to do that. YAYS! So, yea, needless to say, everyone thinks I’m a brown nose, and that I’m sucking up big time. When in fact, I’m not. I’ve just been busting my ass, to do everything right. I need this job. It pays damn well, and the benefits (when I’ll get hired on) are absolutely AMAZZZZING! So, yea thats whats going on at work…Uhm………………………………………….. What else?OH! So I got my credit card finally figured out and squared away. As some of you might know, I was really upset because I was out of work last year, and let my credit card bill get outrageous! Not being able to pay it because I had no income it raised to nearly $1100. I wasnt going to be able to EVER pay that because of all the late charges, etc. So, I got a letter, saying it was going into a settlement, and that if I didnt pay it I was going to get sued for the money. BIG EEK! Right? Well, no. I called them and explained to them that with my next paycheck I can pay $300. I talked to the guy and explained my situation and he said, “Alright, what we can do, if you can pay this in FULL… Which will now be $650. You will no longer have this on your credit score, the account will be closed and you will no longer have to worry about it” I dropped nearly $500 on the spot! I told him I’d pay it. Although my next paycheck is pratically GONE… I dont have to worry about it anymore! No more credit score getting dropped every month, no more debt. HORRAYY!!!!Alright, guys, that is all for now. I’m REALLY hoping to make a shit ton of graphics and glitters this weekend, lets hope I get to it.
