This is going to be another hodge podge entry for you. A little bit of everything, but I brought photos so it’s all good, right?! So let’s get started.

Cleaning Mania

I had a huge touch of the cleaning mania bug for about a week or so, then I went to an agitated mania for a day, finally the past few days I’ve had VERY quick rapid cycling. Rapid cycling has included going from being euphorically happy to crying within a few minutes. From being raging and screaming at the top of my lungs to laughing and smiling and apologizing a hundred times for being a basket case. It’s been quite the rollercoaster ride.

Anyway, while having the cleaning mania I got quite a bit of stuff done. I wrote out a list of all the drawers in the house that needed organizing and proceeded to organize 1-2 drawers a day until the rapid cycling started when I stopped ALL productivity.

I also cleaned out one of my biggest problem areas which were the school supply closet. This was such a big goal of mine. I put off this closet for an ENTIRE YEAR! We hadn’t touched the closet other than throwing some random stuff in it since we moved in here. There were still boxes of stuff on the shelves. Here is what it looked like before I started. Sorry for the poor picture:

As you can see it’s just a small closet! Why did you put that off for so long, Nik?! I don’t know. I put it off forever because it seemed like such a BIG task to me. Well, one day, Nick was at a friend’s house and Mikhail was playing downstairs on Mike’s computer so I tackled it. Here’s what it looks like now:

I did it. I completed one of my biggest goals. I finally went through everything and it looked great!

I wish the cleaning mania would have stuck around for a while longer but I purposely sat around and did NOTHING last Friday to bring myself down from soaring too high. Well, needless to say, I ended up crashing that night. I was just in a not good place. The next morning I woke up VERY agitated and screaming about everything. That only lasted a day, thank god, and then I went into flying off the handle one way to the other for the next few days.  Bleh.

Creative Mania

While I had all kinds of mania and rapid cycling, I also had creative mania. Did you know there were so many different types of mania? I’ve been reading my “See your memories of this day” on Facebook and it actually turns out that the past 6 years I’ve been manic the first two weeks of July.

Well, anyway, I got some coloring done.

I had started a pretty big project and the best part of it was that I had creative mania through the whole project so I completed it! I took all three of my coloring books by Hannah Lynn and de-spined them and put them into a three-ring binder.

Ok, that’s all I did.

Mike just called asking me if I wanted a new phone for my birthday. Suuure! I’ll take a new phone! That would be great! As long as it doesn’t cost us an arm and a leg. If it’s going to cost us too much money, then no, I don’t want it.

I’d be getting a Galaxy S7.

Ok, my stomach is growling something fierce. I need food. I’ll leave this go here. Talk to all later.

One Response to “Lots of Manias”

Yay! A new phone, I have an older version Galaxy S5 and I really like it. I never get a cleaning mania, wouldn’t it be nice if we could choose what kind of mania we had? I know by now you’re into the phase of oh-no-a-new-job mania, but try to stay calm, it will be ok.
