Our original plan for today was to go to Epcot again. We switched things up. We ended up Disney’s Hollywood Studios instead today. We all woke up kinda slow. We had fast passes for Frozen’s sing along but Mike thought all the Frozen stuff was at Epcot so he was confused and wasn’t in a big hurry to get there. We ended up arriving around 9 am; which wasn’t too late but not entirely rope drop either.

Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 – Disney Hollywood Studios and Hoop-Dee-Doo

Since we missed our first fast pass since there was a lot of miscommunication, we all headed towards the one and only ride worth riding at DHS – Toy Story Mania. We waited in the que without fast passes. It took about 45 minutes to get through the whole thing. First, we got coffee and then conquered the line.

We rode and headed out. There was a photo pass photo opt right by the exit with one of the cars from Cars 3, so the boys went and took a picture.

We headed towards Indiana Jones show. Everyone had to stop at the bathrooms. Mike told everyone we had 10 minutes to get there. No one listened. We arrived and the show was full. That’s another fast pass we weren’t able to use. At this point, everyone was irritated. Mike, the boys, and I went to lunch at the Back Lot restaurant. We were hungry but didn’t want to eat too much because we had Hoop-Dee-Doo tonight yet.

We walked through the park. Mikhail wanted a pretzel so we hunted one of those down. We took a few more pictures and then headed back.

We ended up going to the Star Wars store which irritated Nick because he really wanted to build a lightsaber even though we told him no about 30 times that trip. We had no way of getting it home and he already built one last time we were there and he has like 8 lightsabers at the house. They did a photo opt on some Star Wars something or other. Ahem, excuse me, I have no clue what that thing is or is supposed to be. Mikhail found a hat that he wanted so we took a picture to send to Grandma to pick up for us on her way out. While walking through we stopped at Planet Hollywood and there were replicas so Nick wanted photos with them. After that, we headed out of the park and back to our car.

We all met at the camper and it was time to wear our special shirts that were made for our next occasion.

We all wore them and went and shown Great Grandma K. She bawled her eyes out for a good five minutes, just sobbing. The girls were worried about her because of how hard she cried. Once she regained her composure we all headed to Hoop Dee Doo Review for dinner. It was another family-style all you can eat dinner and show. Here are pictures from before:

Ok, so I’m skipping some photos that I have because WordPress isn’t cooperating so my apologies if there are some photos missing. There are just so many of the same things that it’s hard to keep up with which ones are there and aren’t.

We got our dinner and enjoyed all of the food and entertainment the show had to offer. Most importantly, Great Grandma had a blast. Here’s the rest of the photos.

After dinner, we laid low the rest of the night. We went and did some looping on the golf cart. The pictures I got were horrible because we were on the move for most of them.

That was one of the sites set up like a pirate ship. Very cool. We were pretty tired – what’s new, right? We all had a bad time sleeping and then the busy days on top of it, it was slowly chipping away at us. We were exhausted. Tomorrow we decided that Mike and I were going to Epcot to enjoy the bounties of the Food and Wine Festival. Find out just how much we spent while we were there and what we did for the entire day, up next …

Wow! What a great idea for a family reunion! The shirt is amazing, and seems like it’s such fun. I’m actually leaving for Orlando tomorrow, and will be spending a few days at Disney in 2 weeks, so reading this is definitely pumping me up!!
