All the money in the world wouldn’t solve my problems…
Alright, so I was told this past weekend that I need to write daily. Ahem, Gwenn! I’ll do my best to make these attempts worth while. Not a whole lot to really write about other than my normal whining and crying. This past weekend Mike, Adam, and Gwenn and I went up to the Dells. I had a very enjoyable weekend actually. We went up on Friday after deciding that due to the weather, it would be best we didn’t go camping. So we drove up Friday night, decided to stay at this Antiqua Bay Resort place. Mainly because a) we were reserving a room within hours of staying there and there was nothing left and b) it was cheap. So we started heading out there. We got out there around 10pm. We got all our shit outta the car and finally into the hotel room. Mike went to the bathroom and Adam did his traditional jump on the bed and then jump to the other bed to land; He broke the bed. Entire thing, right off the wall. It was pretty funny. So we called up to the front desk and got moved into a different room due to the “bed being broken when we arrived.” After a night of relaxation and sleep, Saturday we did a lot more. We went out to breakfast, shopping downtown, then came back to the hotel. We decided to go swimming during our downtime because there was NO one there. Everyone was out at the actual water parks. So we went swimming for a while. After getting dressed and showered we decided it was going to be time to go to dinner. We went to dinner, then went and rode the go-carts. After Adam and Mike wanted to punch what probably was a few local kids that are obnoxious on the track we decided to go down to the Lake and check it out. For those of you who don’t know whats been going on in the Midwest with all the storms and such… We had really bad flooding all over Wisconsin. One of our lakes, Lake Delton, was flooded out to the point of completely emptying into the Fox River. Here’s the news story. Basically the entire lake emptied out and now there is no more lake. So we went down and took a look at it. I have pictures I could post but I’m too lazy to post at this exact moment. So we checked that out, and basically went and walked in the now non-existent lake. Sometime we went back to shopping on the strip to get the stuff “we’ll come back tomorrow for”. After that we went for a car ride, then went mini golfing, back to the hotel for some swimming, then passed out. Yesterday, after we woke up we went out to breakfast and then took the ride home. I passed out the entire ride home (which is roughly 2 hours). I woke up wondering how the hell we got home so quickly not realizing I slept for the entire ride. We went and got Nickolas from my mom’s house and came home. Needless to say, it was a very interesting, enjoyable, relaxing weekend. I really hope to do it again sometime. When we have more money, more time to plan, and more time to collect coupons so its not super duper expensive. All in ALL it was worth it for what we did… I enjoyed it. I hope everyone else did too.I’ve been doing pretty good lately with the HG. I haven’t thrown up at all since I got that other new medication. I’m not going to even begin to push myself into thinking I’m 100% to do everything again though. I don’t need a relapse or another downward spiral. I still haven’t heard from work whether or not my short term disability extension was received or not. We have this new receptionist lady that doesn’t seem professional at all, but whatever. I’ll have to call “and bother them” again today. I hate being a pain in the ass by calling people daily like “Uhm, yes, has the paperwork been faxed yet?” :annoyed: I just want to make sure that my extension has gone through instead of hoping and waiting and then loosing my job because they never got it. This is going to be a pretty eventful week also. Tomorrow I have an appointment for all my food stamps and state insurance stuff. I might end up back on it depending on whats going on with returning to work or not. Thats down in the complete ghetto of the city. Luckily enough, my Dad is going to take Nickolas while my Mom, sister, and I all go down there. After the appointment, I’ll have my mom drop me off at my dad’s house. Probably hang out over there for a while and visit with him. Thursday, I have my OB appointment. Thats going to be the normal… “How have you been feeling?” “The same.” “Well, are you keeping foods down?” “I am, but not always. I still feel the same though with the nausea.” “Well, continue your meds, and we’ll see how things go. Have a good day.” I wonder why I even go into the doctors office at times. It seems like they don’t even listen. I mean, sure I’m saying “Same ol’ Same ol” but you’d think a doctor would be able to cure/fix the same ol’ crap that I still feel. I mean, yes, I’m not throwing up *knock on wood* like I was, but I still don’t feel 100% or “glowing” like I should be. The cool thing is, I’m only 16 going on 17 weeks pregnant, and I feel the baby move already. Its awesome actually. I wasn’t expecting to feel movement for a while because the nurse that did the ultrasound said that my uterus walls were extremely thick and I’d probably not feel anything for a few weeks after the time normal people feel it. I’m apparently not normal. I knew that, just kinda funny to hear it from someone else. Alright, I wrote enough for now. My fingers hurt, I have a back ache, and Nickolas is running in circles around a blanket on the floor. Sorry, had to add a trail of whining in there somewhere. I will HOPEFULLY be making a new layout soon. Just cross your fingers I suppose. I was going to this weekend at the hotel during downtime, but I just didn’t feel like being on the computer. I could use some color ideas though… I more than likely will have a dark black or grey background like usual. I really just cannot bring myself to do white/light backgrounds yet. So if you have any ideas as to what colors, just leave me a comment.
