Well, today was far better than yesterday. I spent a lot of quality time with Mike last night, which seemed to help a lot. Alright, it helped more than a lot, but I’m not going in to details. All I can say is that ever since this baby was born, Mike has changed. He’s far more patient, more kind, and more caring. I love the person he has become. We really bonded last night together. He made me feel like I can do this. All day today, whenever I felt the urge to smoke, or a craving come in, I just thought about last night and it calmed it. It amazes me how something so simple can do so much to please me.

In other news, we got a lot of snow last night and today. In my area we got 10.5″ of accumulation. In some spots, its well over a foot of snow and more because of drifts and such. I was going to take pictures, but did not get to it. I’ll maybe do that tomorrow.

I’ve been following the Casey Anthony case since June on Nancy Grace. (For more information you can find that at the Find Caylee Blog) Today, a huge development in the case. The remains that were found are indeed Caylee Anthony’s. Which only confirms what a large group of people believed, she’s dead. I honestly have not a single doubt in my mind that Casey is the one that murdered her daughter. There were a lot of developments in the case today actually. According to Dr. G, a “large percentage” of Caylee’s skeletonized remains have been recovered by searchers at the site. Dr. G. explained how a child’s skeleton has many more bones than an adult’s and are not fully developed. Some of the bones that were recovered were no larger then a pebble. This could be the reason why investigators have yet to release the active crime scene, its possible they are still recovering more bones at this time. ::Shakes Head:: Its such a sad story. What else I find completely messed up is the whole situation with the meter reader calling in not once, or twice, but four times to give the authorities the tip about these remains!

Authorities became aware of the remains last Thursday when the meter reader called to report he had found something in the wooded area near the Anthony home. It was revealed yesterday that this was not the first time this meter reader called police about this area, in fact he called 3 times over 4 months ago. For 3 consecutive days back in August, the 11th, 12th, and 13th, the worker called to notify authorities about what he thought was in this wooded terrain and wanted deputies to come out there and take a look. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s office, deputies did come out to the location but did not find anything of interest. (More can be read at the link above.) Unbelievable! So, in other words, she could have been found months ago! During all this time, go figure.

Needless to say, I’m happy the body was found. I mean, I would have been happier to have her found alive, but a body is closure. I hope they give Casey the death penalty. It just breaks my heart, especially when Nancy Grace’s producers plays the video of little Caylee singing “You are my sunshine.”

On a final note; I’ve been spending a lot of time on Deviant Art. My god, you could spend hours, if not days on that site and still find new stuff. I can’t believe all the tutorials I found to make some really cute kawaii things (like a toast plushie keychain, how effin awesome is that?!) along with some unbelievable coloring tuts.
